I Love Films!
Here's a bit of catching up. Back at the flat. Simon had just flown in from Yaounde and Bobby (Simon's Mum) had come over. That's Agnes, who just happened to be visiting (she hasn't lived there for a couple of months). Simon took them - I like them, especially the one of me. I usually hate pictures of me - I hate my mouth, tend to have it tightly shut to hide it. Most pictures of Bruce are the same. I just cannot do a natural toothy smile.
To get to something a bit more interesting - yesterday, I watched "The Straight Story" by David Lynch. I don't know if I already told you, but it is such a good film - I'd say as good as anything from Mike Leigh or Almodovar. You must watch it! So gentle, so loving - it made me feel so good. Here's a plug! go for "lovefilm" for DVD rental at £10 a month, you could get easily two a week and they've got the biggest catalogue you ever saw - take a look!
